UCPBA Award Nomination!

Exciting news!  Ptashka has been nominated for the 2016 UCPBA Award!

The Ukrainian Canadian Professional and Business Association of Toronto (UCPBA) has been an integral part of Toronto’s vibrant Ukrainian community since it’s inception in 1935. This organization is a link between Canadian-Ukrainian professionals, entrepreneurs, business owners and community leaders in Toronto.

2016 is the first year of the UCPBA award, which aims to recognize and celebrate our community’s most successful businesses and professionals in their areas of expertise. The UCPBA Award is a joint effort between the UCPBA and ukrpages – an online directory of Ukrainian businesses and professionals, an initiative of RAZOM Media Group.

Online voting is open until April 1, 2016 and registered voters are able to vote once per category.   You can find Ptashka listed in the following categories:

• Young Entrepreneurs
• Women in Business
• Small Business/Self-employed

Ptashka-trivia!  As a student, I was the graphic designer for the UCPBA’s newsletter, over 20 years ago!  This was my first foray into the world of long-document construction and introduced me to several inspiring Ukrainian businesses and professionals.
